Pater Familias, Francesco Patierno's first film based on homonym Massimo Cacciapuoti's book, is presented at Panorama section in Berlin Film Festival.
The film tells the story of Matteo, who comes back after 10 years in his native town to rescue his past and friends' life. An antiheros' story that want to rebel destiny without having tools enough to do it.

"We have made more than 3000 essays to find the good actors -explains Patierno during the interview-, we wanted capable people to play the characters in a charming way, people capable to communicate emotions. It isn't a rational film, it is emotional".
