L is the feature debut of Greek director Babis Makridis. With a script penned by Efthymis Filippou (Dogtooth) and Makridis himself, based on an original idea by Yorgos Giokas "about a man who lives in his car", L had its world premiere at the World Drama Competition Section of the 28th Sundance Film Festival before crossing the Atlantic for the European premiere at the Rotterdam Film Festival (review).
