Producers on the Move 2013

- Cineuropa interviews 29 producers from 29 European countries who have been selected by European Film Promotion to take part in a networking platform during the Cannes Film Festival.

Producers on the Move 2013

29 producers from 29 European countries have been selected by members of European Film Promotion (EFP) to take part in the Producers on the Move networking platform, which will be taking place for the 14th year in the framework of the Cannes Film Festival.

Producers on the Move's programme includes pitching sessions, one-on-one speed-dating meetings and various opportunities to build up business relationships and to exchange knowledge with other audiovisual professionals, including participants from previous editions who are also attending the Producers’ Lunch event.


For the first time, producers from the Republic of Kosovo and Montenegro will attend the meetings. Other selected producers will already show their works in the festival: Italian participant Viola Prestieri (Buena Onda) has executive-produced The Great Beauty [+see also:

] by Paolo Sorrentino, which will be screened in competiton. Furthermore, she has produced Honey by Valeria Golino to be seen in Un Certain Regard. UK’s Andrea Cornwell (Lobo Films Ltd) produced The Last Days On Mars by Ruairi Robinson which has been selected for the Directors' Fortnight.


Cineuropa will once again be interviewing the 29 participants.
