Carlitos, an orphan boy of 12, dreams of being a soccer player. When he finds out that the Spanish Soccer Federation is looking for new talents for the Spanish team competing in the next European Junior Championship, Carlitos hopes to fulfil his dream. Unfortunately the Orphanage director, Mister Hipolito, doesn’t seem interested in the great expectations of the children under his responsibility and doesn’t allow Carlitos to participate in the selection. But Carlitos has friends and two precious allies: the Janitor of the Institute, Diego who has spent his 35 years of life in the orphanage and is a great soccer player, and Maite the beautiful nutritionist who Diego secretly loves. Thanks to their help Carlitos can become a member of the Spanish team but Hipolito suspects something strange is happening.
