synopsis

Loosely inspired by Hugo von Hoffmansthal's 1911 update of the medieval Everyman play, the story of Jan Jedermann (Klaus Maria Brandauer), a fiftysomething fashion designer who, although successful in his native Austria, has never made it in Paris. Detemined, he decides to have one last show... The film began shooting originally in the Autumn of 1996, but ran into financial difficulties. Shooting recommenced in 2000.
