Working with people from the Anneessens immigrant quarter of Brussels - all of whom were involved with the script and developing their roles over the two-year preparation period - a film based on their lives, experiences, emotions and dreams and looking at the idea of leaving one life behind and inventing another - the core of the immigrant experience.
