Based on the popular Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, this is the story of a tempestuous love affair between Rose, an aspiring young actress, and her boyfriend's uncle George who, in turn, is having an affair with an Italian artist. When, years later, all members of the love quadrangle are reunited, the complexities of their situation are once again brought to the fore.
