synopsis

Regina (Magali Noel who was Fellini’s Gradisca in Amarcord) lives alone in a big house in Rome. She is still beautiful and is asked by the director of Rebibbia jail to help a young Sardinian, Graziano Palmas (Luciano Curreli, a talented actor who won prizes for his work in Girotondo, giro intorno al mondo directed by Manuli) who has been in prison for eight years and has eight more to go. His crime was kidnapping. He protests his innocence by starting a hunger strike. Regina believes him and he gradually tells her his story. They pass from friendship to love and is a totally unexpected event for both of them. Regina manages to get him a day job outside prison...
