synopsis

The story is set in the elegant mirrored rooms of the Caffé Quattro Palme frequented by retired military personnel and professors, rich widows and elegant gentlemen. Giuseppe (Roberto Citran) is one of the waiters and he becomes fond of Tobias (Federico Galante), the child of a pair of customers. The bond between Giuseppe and the child becomes stronger as the years go by and survives the deaths of Tobias’s parents.
