synopsis

Leopoldo is a reserved teacher living in Florence. After the death of his father, he discovers he has a half-brother. He is called Melchiorre but is nicknamed Gimondi. He is imprisioned in Palermo for a series of robberies. Leopoldo goes to look for him in Sicily and the two brothers travel from the south to the north of Italy in order to find their roots. After a series of incredible adventures, both finally arrive at their destination and Leopoldo gets the surprise of his life...
