synopsis
Tonino and Maddalena live in a small village in Southern Italy and are deeply in love. Maddalena's rare beauty makes her ugly cousin Teresa jealous. Teresa decides to use every means in her power to take Tonino away from Maddalena, even resorting to witchcraft.
