NEXT YEAR

by Vania Leturcq

synopsis

Eighteen-year-olds Clotilde and Aude live in a small provincial village and have always been the best of friends. Like many teenage buddies, they have a strong, exclusive and symbiotic relationship. The school year is coming to an end, and Clotilde and Aude must decide what they are going to do next year, after their baccalaureate exams. Eager to move away from the village where she has never felt at home, Clotilde chooses to leave and continue her studies in Paris. She sets off, taking Aude with her as they leave their roots behind. After all, the most important thing is to stay together. But, in discovering the capital, the two girls have completely different experiences. Until the break-up.
