synopsis

Barış is a thirty-something marine biologist whose left hand was malformed due to the drugs his mother had used during pregnancy. Suffering certain psychological defects, which he struggles to defeat through science, Barış goes through dark an depressive winters and brightly manic summers. On a long sea trip aboard his father’s old boat, Barış runs into Deniz, a young freediving activist whom he had met years ago. Their mutual attraction intensify over days, however love and science don’t always go well together.
