MY NAME IS GARY
by Blandine Huk, Frédéric Cousseau
synopsis
“I was born in 1906 on the shores of Lake Michigan, Indiana. I was a steel town. They called me the Magic City, the City of the Century. But I was one of the most segregated places in America. In 1968, I had the first elected US black mayor. Then, I experienced something called the ‘White Flight′ and suddenly I became a black city. Today they say that I am a ghost town but I am still alive and my name is Gary”.
