AVE Y NADA

by Cristóbal Arteaga

synopsis

As soon as the Supreme Maker creates him from dirt on the floor and breathes life onto him so that man becomes a living being, Adam, the first human being, wakes up in a world completely alien to him. He then needs to find out what being alive means, extracting the pertinent lessons from such a peremptory learning process. One day, Eve shows up in his life, the first of all women. From that moment on, the first couple has to pay attention to the art of good cohabitation so that they can live together in harmony. The pressure of being responsible for the origins of humankind will soon take a toll on them… a very personal version of our genesis, moved to the Eden like Galician forests a little bit further west than what Bible tradition has said for centuries.
