AMORFÙ

by Emanuela Piovano

synopsis

Elena, a young woman majoring in psychiatry, dreams of helping "crazy people" return to a normal life. She makes them talk, she pushes them, she keeps after them in the vain hope of finding traces of normalcy in them. Fausto, a "crazy" who has been repeatedly hospitalized against his will, is an outgoing musician with strong signs of normalcy. The story unfolds around the doctor-patient relationship that develops between two fragile lives, leading the protagonists to expressions of a "healthy madness". A great love? Perhaps just a strong desire to be free.
