synopsis

Błażej and Magda are fulfilling their dream to live away from the city. They want their daughter to grow up closer to nature. They also feel the need to bring harmony to their relationship and lives. Despite significant challenges on site they enjoy renovating their small village house together. One day, the brother of Błażej’s recently passed away father shows up at their doorstep. In this Dardennesque and unhurried quiet drama the uncle acts as a catalyst in the lives of the couple, making Błażej finally come to terms with the death of his ever absent father and revealing the couple’s doubts as well as their strengths.
