synopsis
Páll is a widower who has lived alone and isolated from society for years. His world is unexpectedly turned upside down when he befriends Elísabet, a victim of domestic abuse who takes refuge in his house. When her abusive boyfriend turns up and tries to force Elísabet to return home, Páll finds himself forced to face his own past as he steps between them.
