synopsis
The man who left Hungary during the '56 revolution lives in a comfortable retirement with his British wife. After receiving a strange telephone call he returns to his birthplace after forty years to see his old love. He discovers that her past has many secrets and is very different from what he had believed. His visit radically changes not only their life, but also the lives of people around them. Karoly Makk offers us an exciting story full of dramatic changes by showing us the lives of two people, who loved each other very much, but history and destiny set them apart. Can betrayal of a woman be forgiven? Who is the traitor, who the winner and who the loser in this story?
