BLINDED

by Eleanor Yule

synopsis

Handsome Danish backpacker, Mike Hammershoi, arrives one night at Black's farm looking for work. Francis, the blind owner, lives with his elderly mother Bella, and young wife Rachel in isolation. Francis offers Mike a low-paid labouring job in the run down yard. Mike initially declines the job offer, but changes his mind after meeting the magnetically attractive Rachel. Since the accident that blinded him two years earlier, Francis has become bitter and jealous towards Rachel. Sensing his wife's attraction to Mike, Francis finds an excuse to sack him.
