SCHOPENHAUER

by Giovanni Maderna

synopsis

Reflections on contemplation, but also on the dangers of introspection carried to excess. The film tells the story of two students, a man and a woman, seeking a revelation from a philosopher who has retired to the country. In the silence of their long wait, the two face up to their most recondite desires and their anxieties. The long awaited revelation will never arrive. A film that is a metaphor about waiting and the loss of coordinates that takes the two protagonists towards annihilation.
