MY BROTHER IS GETTING MARRIED

by Jean-Stéphane Bron

synopsis

The Depierraz family was shattered fourteen years ago. Nowadays, everyone leads their life on their own and they talk little, or not at all. Even Vinh, their adoptive son, has distanced himself and despite the announcement of his wedding, nothing is set to change. But his Vietnamese mother will change everything as she has decided to come to Switzerland. She will finally meet the family who welcomed and raised her child, this family immortalised by a photograph sent twenty years earlier, in times of happiness. But between this happy and prosperous image and the current relational disaster lies a gap of which Mrs Nguyen is not aware.
