THIEVES
synopsis
Steal. That’s the only thing he knows how to do; it’s all that his mother taught him before she disappeared forever, handcuffed to a policeman, on the platform of a subway station. When we see him again he has just left the orphanage and is completely alone. He tries to find his place in this world, but it’s just a matter of time before the boy gives in to the call of his own nature. Sara is a schoolgirl who commits petty theft from time to time. The day they meet the thief makes a crazy proposal to her: that they steal together, splitting the take. But the apparently “professional” agreement hides an open secret: they’ve liked each other from the first moment, and it’s only a matter of time before their strange relationship develops further...
