LO BUENO DE LLORAR

by Matías Bize

synopsis

A young couple about to break up spend the night walking through Barcelona trying to find words, answers, and tears. Unable to look each other in the face, or break through the suffocating silence, these now strangers walk for hours side by side, on no particular route. Their gestures are identical, choreographed by a long past together, but their eyes, by turns blank, nostalgic and serious, are fixed fearfully on a future that is unknown, far removed from the comforting reassurance of habit. Both are conscious of the impossibility of a life together, but the reflexes they have acquired over time still seem to be with them.
