UN COEUR SIMPLE

by Marion Laine

synopsis

Félicité is a woman who devotes her life to others. She does so not through self-sacrifice but with the boundless love she has to offer to those who are lucky enough to encounter and understand her. One after the other and with the same intensity, she loves Théodore who betrays her, Clémence whose affection is forbidden, Victor who disappears, God whom she discovers belatedly and finally Loulou, a parrot. At the centre of this world is Mathilde, her mistress, the cornerstone of a life that she determinedly builds for herself.
