synopsis
A very cinematographic black & white adaptation of the novel 'Own Death' by the Hungarian writer Péter Nádas. Nádas describes the day he got a severe heart attack and balanced on the border of life and death. Meticulously he describes his near-death experience, which gave him the blessed feeling to return to his own birth. Once recovered it took him five years to re-learn life.
