Marco, a young gatekeeper at Italian Southern Highways, spends his summer closed in a tollhouse outside Naples.His shyness and the burden of a pressing mother have him being a man unable to impose his personality. Meeting Silvia, his new neighbouring, seems to make a new life starting up, but, just in the moment that everything was looking to go in the right way, his long courtship is mined by a notice of eviction received by the owner of his apartment.
