Salvador del Solar

With a career of more than twenty years behind him as a theatre, film and television actor, Salvador del Solar debuts in screenwriting and filmmaking withMagallanes, inspired in the short story La Pasajera, by the Peruvian author Alonso Cueto. With this feature film he won the Films in Progress Industry Award at the 62nd San Sebastian Festival in 2014. Among his most outstanding works as a film actor are Pantaleón y las visitadoras (1999), Saluda al diablo de mi parte (2010) and El elefante desaparecido (2014).
