Stephan Schesch

German producer and director. Born in 1967 in Munich. He is a graduate of the Munich Academy of Film. After receiving a grant from the Carat Academy, he worked as a writer for RTL and at SAT.1. During an internship at Film Roman in Los Angeles (The Simpsons) in 1995, he decided to specialize in animation.

He is a producer of the film The Cave of the Yellow Dog (WFF 2005) which was submitted as Mongolia's contender for the 2005 Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film, and the animation The Three Robbers (WFF 2008). Moon Man is his directorial debut.
