Corinna Avraamidou

She was born in Cyprus in 1971 and studied Film and Television in London and New York. Ever since 1992 she has been working at the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation (CyBC) as a director of entertainment programs and mainly drama serials. She has directed daily dramas and comedies, as well as period dramas. She has also been working at film writing and directing.

The 25-min short film The Secret of the First Day, won the prize for Best Screenplay at the 2nd Cyprus Short FF. The Last Homecoming is her first feature film.
