Rodrigo Cortés

At the age of 16 he had already shot his first short in Super-8: El descomedido y espantoso caso del victimario de Salamanca.

In 1998 he directed the short film Yul, winner of some twenty international awards and, in 2001, 15 días, a false documentary which went on to become the Spanish short to receive more prizes than any of its kind until then.

Concursante, his first feature, won the Critics Award for best Film at Malaga 2007. Buried was screened in the Park at Midnight Section of Sundance Festival and at the Deauville and Toronto festivals.
