Frédéric Pelle

Biarritz, 1965. Studied at the Ecole Supèrieure de Commerce in Bordeaux and at the Conservatoire Libre du Cinéma Français. Between 1997 and 2007, he directed the France 3 programme La carte aux trésors.

In 2000, he directed his first short, Des morceaux de ma femme, premiered in the Official Selection at Cannes. His other shorts include: Le corbeau (2001), L’histoire d’un autre, un portrait de René Féret (2001), Le vigile (2002), Une séparation (2003), Le caissier (2004) and Chambre 616 (2006). La tête ailleurs is his first feature.
