Daniel Nocke
Born in Hamburg on 3.10.1968, he studied at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy from 1994-99 where he has been a visiting lecturer in screenwriting for animation films since 1999. A freelance animation filmmaker and screenwriter living in Hamburg, he is the recipient of several Adolf Grimme Awards, one of which was conferred in 1999 for his sixty-minute animation film DER PEIT SCHENMEISTER. In 2004 he received the German Film Critics’ Award for Best Screenplay for SIEHABEN KNUT.
