Seyfi Teoman

Seyfi Teoman was born in Kayseri in Turkey in 1977. He studied economics in Istanbul and subsequently spent two years at the Polish film school in Łódź. His feature film debut, TATIL KITABI, was premiered in the Forum section of the Berlinale in 2008 and went on to receive numerous international awards, including a nomination for the European Film Award in the category Discovery. His film OUR GRAND DESPAIR won many prizes including the Golden Berlin Bear at the 2011 Berlinale. (Source : Berlin Film Festival)
