Rodrigo Moreno

Rodrigo Moreno was born in Buenos Aires in 1972. He studied film directing at the Universidad del Cine where he has been teaching screenwriting and directing since 1993. He made his first short film, NOSOTROS, in 1993, and contributed one episode to an ensemble piece entitled MALA ÉPOCA in 1998. He wrote, produced and directed the feature film EL DESCANSO (2002) together with friends, Ulises Rosell et Andrés Tambornino. EL CUSTODIO, his first feature film as a director in his own right, won the Alfred Bauer Film Award at the 2006 Berlinale. UN MUNDO MISTERIOSO (2010) was selected for the competition of the 2011 Berlinale. (Source : Berlin Film Festival)
