Milagros Mumenthaler

Milagros Mumenthaler is born in Argentina in 1977. Her family moves to Switzerland, but at the age of 17, she decides to return to her home country to study film at the Universidad del Cine in Buenos Aires, graduating in 2004. In 2000, she makes her first short film ¿Cuándo llega papá?, followed by three more: El patio (2003), Cape Cod (2003) and Amancay (2006). Back to Stay(2011), her first feature film, is supported at the writing stage by the Cannes Festival’s Cinéfondation, and wins the Pardo d’oro at Locarno.
