Frederikke Aspöck

Director, born 1974, Denmark. Holds an MFA in Filmmaking from Tisch School of the Arts, NYU, and a BA in set design from Wimbledon School of Art in London.

Aspöck has directed several short films, including her thesis film from Tisch, Happy Now (2004), which amongst numerous other awards won the Premier Prix de la Cinéfondation in Cannes. Directed the short Får/Sheep in 2008 and is out with her first feature film Labrador/Out of Bounds in 2011, selected for Cannes' Special Screening lineup.

- Frederikke Aspöck's first feature Out of Bounds (2011) premiered in Cannes and won the Golden Star Award at Marrakech Film Festival.
