Jannicke Systad Jacobsen

Was born in 1975, studied film directing at FAMU and London International Film School. She has also studied dramaturgy and drama, as well as social anthropology at the University of Oslo.

She directed several documentaries and shorts with a great humorous flair, before making her feature film debut with the comedic youthdrama Turn me on, Goddammit!, which had it's world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in April 2011.

Systad Jacobsen, who also wrote the screenplay for the film, received the award for Best Screenplay in the World Narrative Competition at the festival. (www.norvegianfilms.no)
