Rodrigo Plá

Rodrigo Plá was born on 9 June 1968 in Montevideo (Uruguay). He studied Film at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC) in Mexico City. He made his first films in the mid-1990s. Since then he has been working as a director, producer and screenwriter. His film LA DEMORA (THE DELAY) won 2 prizes including the prize of the Ecumenical Jury in the section Forum at the 2012 Berlinale. (Source : Berlin Film Festival)
