Jem Cohen

Jem Cohen (Kabul, 1962) has been experimenting with images for thirty years by means of music videos, short films, documentaries and other formats where music and urban landscapes take on enormous importance. Throughout his career he has collaborated with groups including R.E.M., Godspeed You Black Emperor and Smoke, dedicating his film Benjamin Smoke (2000) to its leader. He also directed the feature films Chain (2004) and Museum Hours (2012).
