Axel Koenzen

Born in Hilden, in the Rhineland region of Germany, in 1972. He studied Photography at the International Center of Photography in New York and worked as a freelance photographer and visual researcher. He studied then at the German Film and Television School Berlin (dffb). Deadweight is his first feature-length film.
