Salvatore Mereu

Born in Dorgali, Nuoro on Sardinia in 1965, he studied film in Bologna, initially at the Faculty of Literature and Philosophy, subsequently at the National Film School, where he graduated in directing in 1997.

During this time he made two short films followed in 2003 by his feature film debut, Ballo a tre passi, which received several awards and was screened at many international festivals.
