Simon Staho

Born in Født, Denmark, on 2.6.1972. His film Dag og Nat (Day and Night) received an award at the Chicago International Film Festival in 2005; his next work, Bang Bang Orangutang, won the Golden Shell at San Sebastián in the same year.

He writes his screenplays with Peter Asmussen. Heaven’s Heart was screened in the Berlinale Special section at Berlin 2008.
