Birger Larsen

Born 1961, Denmark. Has a wide experience as a director TV series including DR's »The Killing« and the Swedish series Wallander.

Larsen was Oscar nominated for his short fiction Sweethearts (1996), and made the critically acclaimed feature films Dance of the Polar Bears (1990) and The Big Dipper (1992). Directed TV drama for many years.

His fourth feature, the children's film Super Brother was selected for Berlin's Gneneration Kplus. (Danish Film Institute)
