Hella Joof

Born 1961, Denmark. Graduated in acting from Odense Drama School, 1990. Joof has made appearances on stage, TV and in film. She co-hosted the children's TV program, Bullerfnis with great success.

Shake It All About, her feature film debut, was a hit at the box-office (seen by ten percent of the population) as well as a favourite with the critics. Her second feature Oh Happy Day, also a box-office success, was sold to Disney for a US remake. (Danish Film Institute)
