Joaquín Oristrell

Joaquín Oristrell, writer and director, has shown a preference for comedy throughout his career. Having contributed his work as a screenwriter to films including Bajarse al moro (1989), Salsa rosa (1992), Todos los hombres sois iguales (1993, Goya for Best Screenplay) and El amor perjudica seriamente la salud (1997), he made his directorial debut with ¿De qué se ríen las mujeres?(1997), followed by Sin vergüenza (2001), Los abajo firmantes (2003), Inconscientes (Unconscious, 2004) and Nadie es perfecto (Nobody's Perfect, 2006). Hablar opened the last Malaga Festival.
