Isidro Ortiz

Born in Plasencia, Cáceres on 13.9.1963, he has worked in audio visual media for over 20 years.

After studying at the British Film Institute in London, he began making his first short films at the Cooperativa de Cine Doré in 1980. He took up a career in current affairs working for broadcaster RTVE in 1981, and later held a number of decisive positions at Canal Plus from 1992-98.

In 2001 he made his first feature film for theatrical release, a horror-cum-thriller based on the legend of Faust entitled Fausto 5.0.
