Kirsten Sheridan

Kirsten Sheridan was born in Dublin, Ireland on 14.7.1976. She attended a screenwriting class at New York University in 1993, followed by a degree in film studies at University College, Dublin, later transferring to the Irish film school at Dun Laoghaire College where she graduated with a Masters degree in 1998. She first attended the Panorama in 2001 with her feature film debut, DISCO PIGS. In 2002 she, her sister Naomi and her father Jim Sheridan were nominated for an Academy Award for their screenplay for Jim Sheridan’s IN AMERICA. (Source : Berlin Film Festival)
