Daniele Segre

(Alessandria, 1952) teaches directing at the National Film School in Rome and at the University of Pisa.

He began his career as a photographer in Turin, and in the mid-70s began making films and video. In 1981 he founded the production company I Cammelli and in 1989 the Scuola Video di Documentazione Sociale.

His works have aired on public television and have been presented and won awards at numerous national and international film festivals.
