Milan hosts second EAVE Producers Workshop

After a first workshop in Luxembourg, the second 2009 European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs (EAVE) Workshop will be held in Milan from June 7-15.
The workshop offers professional training to European producers and is financed by the MEDIA Programme in partnership with the Milan Film Agency, with support from the City of Milan, Republic and Canton of Ticino, City of Lugano, CISA, Milan Chamber of Commerce and the Fondazione Lombardia Film Commission, and with the patronage of the Lombardy Region.
The workshop will bring together 51 producers and 15 scriptwriters from 28 countries. Industry experts in attendance include sales agent Thomas Mai (formerly TrustNordisk, now with Festival Darlings of Denmark), who will discuss marketing; producer Danny Krausz (DOR Film, Austria), who will speak on the development, production and post-production of Philipp Stölz’s film North Face [+see also:

film profile]; and UK producer Lizzie Gillet, who will present a case study of Fanny Armstrong’s documentary on global warming, The Age of Stupid.
